There will be 30 or so entries, about 2/3 fantasy and 1/3 40k. Needless to say I'm very excited to see how my Big'Uns stack up against other hobbyists.

Very very nice - how long did it take
About a month...once I get started on a project I'm pretty good about putting time into regularly. But then there are long stretches of no activity whatsoever. Kids, wife and work often come up!
Ah wife and kids I know that feeling. Really enjoying your work the whole orc & goblin army when put together must look great
I still think the unit looks better in person, but you did a wonderful job on the presentation! I bet you hired a graphics artist to do it for you.
You will have to update the blog with how you came out in the competition. They look great and should give any other models a good run for the money.
